Upcoming Special Events

Don’t miss these exciting special events hosted by Fur and Feather Works!

Doggy School Photo Day

Saturday, March 30 from noon to 5:00pm
Get beautiful professional portraits of your dog(s) (and you, if you want!) that you’ll treasure forever, for only $45 per dog (or human). Don’t worry, ours are way better than that photo of you in 4th grade.

How it works:

1. You register below, and we arrange a time for you to arrive.
2. A professional trainer (Joanna) poses your dog(s) and gets them to “smile”
2. A professional photographer with a fast shutter finger gets those shots
3. You and your dog leave feeling great about their photo shoot
4. You get your photos emailed to you in a couple of weeks!

Understanding Your Reactive Dog Workshop

Saturday, April 6 at 5:30pm
Tuition: $75

Does your dog bark, lunge, and show his teeth at other dogs or people? It may feel like you’re alone in this, but you’re NOT – it’s an extremely common problem! And, despite how it feels, you likely did NOT cause it. Join us in this 2 hour, humans-only workshop for some quick relief from the stress by learning what makes your dog tick, and how to best manage this condition.

2nd Annual Dog Gear Swap Meet and Art Sale

Sunday, October 26 from 2:30 to 5:00pm
Admission is FREE!

Are you a dog gear hoarder who has ended up with a whole bunch of stuff you never use? Wondering where all these collars came from? Or maybe you make dog toys or treats in your spare time? Well, boy do we have an event for you!

Fur and Feather Works is hosting a Dog Gear Swap Meet! Everyone is invited to either sell or purchase, so tell your friends!

For the first time, we are also including Pet-Focused arts and crafts! So tell your artist friends, too!

Res-Que will also be there with some potential new best friends!

Control Yourself! Workshop

Saturday, November 16 at 4:00pm
Tuition: $45

Is your dog’s enthusiasm for life a bit – er – much sometimes? If your pooch’s lunging on leash, jumping up, grabbing things, and door dashing have become more of an embarrassment than comedic relief, this fun one hour workshop is for you! Guided by one of our expert, certified trainers, you’ll learn various training tools that will help your spirited friend learn to control himself, even when there are distractions, and ESPECIALLY when there’s something he wants, so that he can be a welcomed participant in all areas of your life.

Prerequisite: Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Manners, or equivalent level of training (just ask!)
