The purpose of this seminar is to introduce the dog sport of tracking and get the dog/handler team started in tracking. The seminar will cover line handling, track laying, and getting the dog/handler team started on a track. The seminar will be given by EVDTC members, Sara Thorne (President) and Cindy Craig (Vice President), Liz Carter of Revolution Dog Sports, and Joanna Moritz of Fur and Feather Works. Tracking demonstrations will utilize an AKC titled tracking dog. At the conclusion of the seminar, the handler will have the knowledge to begin training for AKC and/or ASCA tracking events. The dog will have learned how to start on a track and how to keep his/her nose to the ground and find an article with that same scent.

Entries will be limited to 12-dog/handler teams per day and 8 auditor positions per day and will be on a first come, first serve basis. The seminar will be the same format each day.
