Dog Training Info
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

Not all dog training is created equal!
In the words of Jean Donaldson, director for the SF/SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers, “we are not like plumbers, orthodontists or exterminators who, if you put six in a room, [allwill pretty much agree on how do to their jobs.” The most effective dog training methods are based on the latest behavioral research, using innate motivators to maximum benefit. This type of dog training actually strengthens the bond between you and your canine partner, and is fun for both the dog and the trainer.”
The longer a dog is able to “practice” an unwanted behavior, the more ingrained it will become. Don’t wait! Issues which need prompt addressing in dogs include:
- Basic obedience/manners
- Housetraining
- Fear
- Aggression
- Destructive behavior
- Repetitive behaviors
- Barking

For one-on-one training help:
Personalized dog behavior modification or training begins with an initial in-home assessment of about 90 minutes. It is often beneficial to have the dog’s immediate “family” present during the lesson so that everyone is on the same page. Call me at (775) 453-5753 or email me to set up an appointment!
“Semi-private” dog training lessons – with one or two friends – are always welcome!
